What is Lubriderm?
Lubriderm falls under the category of emollients. And as the word says “lubriderm”, here ‘lubri’ is derived from lubrication and ‘derm’ means related to the skin.
So, it helps in the lubrication of the skin. It makes the skin moist and soft and keeps it hydrated. They are thus a solution to dry skin by maintaining a proper channel for aeration and hydration in the skin.
Why is lubriderm non-comedogenic?
Lubriderm is made using a fast absorbing and non greasy formula which does not let the excessive oil or sweat to settle on the skin.
This does not let oily dirt to get trapped in the hair follicle.
Lubriderm acts by forming a layer of oil on the skin which makes the skin impermeable to humidity or dirt around. After forming this layer, it traps the water in the skin to increase its hydration and helps in activating the channels for the passage of air and water present in the skin.

Take a small amount of lubriderm on your palm. Gently rub it on the affected area using your fingertips. Lubriderm appears to work the best when the skin is slightly damp or moist.
Carefully read the instructions given on the label at the back of the package. Remember to apply it only in the area where blackheads are present and nowhere else. Do not apply it if you have deep wounds in the area of blackheads.
Stop its use if you feel that the emollient is over whitening your skin or the skin appears whitish grey and contact a dermatologist.
Keep it in a dark bottle or container away from direct light in a cool place away from moisture and heat.
Do not go in direct sunlight after you apply lubriderm as it can make your skin sensitive to ultra violet rays of the sun and cause skin related problems.
